Mark your calendars for the third edition of Uniform

Nehru Centre, Mumbai will once again be the venue for this ‘must attend’ B2B expo from November 21-23 with a new co-located event, Daily Wear Expo making its debut. While planning your schedules for the last quarter of this year, be sure to mark the third edition of Uniform & Sportswear Expo (USE) 2024 on your calendar. India’s leading B2B expo on the uniform & sportswear industry, organised by Vibgyor Expositions, will once again be held at Nehru Exhibition Centre, Worli, Mumbai from November 21-23. While the venue retention can be considered icing on the cake, the new, co-located event, Daily Wear Expo being held parallelly is undoubtedly the cherry on top!

This unique platform for the B2B industry has been conceptualised with an aim to create an interactive market and that organised interface has been evident year after year. The three-day event enables discussions with a relevant visitor profile, while showcasing varied products and related services in an enabling environment.

Commenting on the upcoming edition of USE, Devang N. Sheth, Director, Vibgyor Expositions, the event organisers, said, “With each edition of Uniform & Sportswear Expo, the response from exhibitors and visitors rises to greater heights. Our database expands further and our promotional activities like roadshows, print and social media marketing enable us to make a greater impact. We are looking forward to further progress in 2024 edition with the scope of show expanding as Daily Wear gets co-located, thereby ensuring even better results for the exhibitors who can showcase their wider range. We will be having the support of prominent associations and publications as always.”

Vibgyor Expositions, have been conducting the pre-event promotions in full swing and also taken a strategic decision to ensure their presence at important centres and explore key markets to ensure even greater returns to the exhibitors and visitors. One of the first steps in this direction was participating at the inaugural edition of Great India Textile Show (GITS) 2024 at Meerut and second edition of Garfab-TX 2024 at Jaipur.

Explaining the dual purposes behind these two initiatives and multiple benefits that resulted, Devang Sheth, organiser of Uniform & Sportswear Expo (USE) 2024, said, “We participated in GITS as we wanted to meet the leading sportswear manufacturers from Meerut, create awareness about our expo and understand the market dynamics to serve our industry in an even better way. Sportswear is one of the key segments of our show so we felt that a face-to-face, in-person interaction was the need of the hour. Therefore, this was a conscious decision and we feel it was a step in the right direction, which will benefit all those connected with USE 2024, while popularising the magazine there simultaneously as well. Similarly, our participation at Garfab- TX 2024 enabled us to interact and promote SPI magazine while also promoting USE 2024, creating more awareness about the show and meet potential exhibitors, talk in detail with them about the Jaipur market.”

The market for uniforms and sports apparel is set to grow exponentially but it needs a dedicated platform to achieve that potential. USE 2024 will provide precisely that. It will also offer an ideal opportunity for all stakeholders connected with these segments to interact face-to-face and reap big benefits going forward thereafter.

Recent reports have made it clear that the potential is not just within India but an opportunity to tap markets beyond borders as well. This sunrise industry has vast scope to increase its share within the apparel and textile market. There is immense potential for growth and development.

USE 2024 will be a catalyst for transformation leveraging the strong textile base and printing facilities in India. This initiative will enable manufacturers from this country to export all over the world; facilitating the ‘Make in India’ efforts as they progress and achieve a level of true success.

The previous edition, USE 2023 had 45 stalls of prominent exhibitors showcasing uniform & sportswear, t-shirts manufacturers, suiting & shirting, sublimation printers, DTF, garment accessories, elastics, lanyards, ID cards, school accessories & textile printing related services from Pune, Kalol, New Delhi, Bangalore, Indore, Surat, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Tirupur, Mumbai and Hong Kong who participated in the exhibition.
